Every now and then we receive negative feedback for whatever reason. This one actually prompted me to create a negative's page. Please feel free to reply on my behalf, and be sure to cc me. I'll post all comments here.

Please don't do this anymore.
As if the light pollution this sort of thing causes weren't bad enough, the extra electricity you use accelerates global warming and climate change. Do you really need a house that can be seen from space? Do you care at all for the future of the planet. Are you really so self-centered and smug?
Stop it right now.

Hi Terry,
How very sad for you that you feel this way. During this time of year, it is probably wise for you to remain at home so not to spread your misery.
The joy and happiness that this display gives to the thousands (YES, THOUSANDS) of people that come by each year, far outweigh your pathetic argument of the downhill spiral that you think this planet is in.
Also, lets not forget about the millions of dollars raised each year around the globe by light displays for charities. Kind of ironic that some people raise money this way to help stop global warming, isn't it.
Well, I've wasted as much time as your rant warrants.
Dan
P.S. I was amused by your choice of words, though. A popular saying in the Christmas lighting community is "If it's not visible from space, you don't have enough lights".

You are just a bit jealous, and a bit of an ass.

Hello Terry:
I can't tell by your email if you are serious or if you think you have a very cute sense of humor and want to see if you can get a rise out of anyone.
If you're really serious about this I can only assume that you are one very pathetic and lonely old miser who would make Ebenezer look good. It's really sad that you have nothing else to do other than look for Christmas sites (even on other continents) to try to promote your fanaticism.
If you think your sense of humor is witty and cute let me assure you it isn't. We have seen the Lagerstrom's home and the lights are truly beautiful. Maybe if you could get off your self-imposed pedestal and try to enjoy the world you too could have a life.
Our deepest sympathy to you for the life you've chosen for yourself. People who have to tear others down to try to make themselves look better are a very sad lot.
We hope you have a very Merry Christmas in spite of yourself!

Dear Terry,
This saddens me to read the comment you sent to people who light up ALL those children, and adults, dreams, the magic, and all the good that comes from people like Dan and Cindy. I'm only guessing now, but I'll bet you don't want sandcastle build offs, the Indy, the fireworks display, leaf blowers, and just about anything that brings joy and happiness to us "self-centered, and smug" humans. Check out your local government. See what they could do if it was such a priority. Terry, you should write the Canadian Navy, because you see, we are using submarines that still have the BANNED OUTLAWED gas called FREON. do you know what that does to our ozone? Terry, I suggest that you give your head a real good shake, and you "STOP RIGHT NOW" sending polluting messages to good people like Cindy and Dan.
Merry Christmas

Hi Terry,
I feel so very sorry for you, you must be a very unhappy individual to be so negative about something that is so beautiful and a joy to see. There is a tremendous amount of work that goes into making such a beautiful display for people to enjoy and enjoy they do, thousands of people come to see this display. I can't believe that you would actually write such a negative letter. I hope it made you feel good because I have a feeling that nothing else would.
I'd say Merry Christmas, but I'm sure you wouldn't like that either.

I am truly sorry to see there are people out there that don't understand what a light display like this and others gives back to the community.
By your comments, you have not yet been touched by the light or warmth of the season...you GRINCH !!!!!! you really do need to get a LIFE !!!!
If you are so worried about GLOBAL WARMING etc....I suggest you UNPLUG you computer, stop driving your car, burn some candles and go live in the WOODS and let the rest of us bring some JOY TO THIS WORLD !!!!
Merry Christmas.... Dumb @$$ !!!!
